Description The people of The Green Wood resemble native Americans of old times. Tribal societies living off of the vast land this plateau affords them. This has attracted more than a little attention from the warring superpowers, but there isn’t much space left on this plateau for more civilizations. Tribes of land people sprawl out all over the wooded plateau top, and if a superpower were to try and settle, it would be cause for conflict with these peoples.
That’s not to say an effort hasn’t been made to colonize the lands. Many countries have a stake in what happens in these tribal societies, and airships with resources for trade and even people to settle small camps on the land have landed. Superpowers have yet to outright settle and claim portions of the land, but they aren’t far from it. The various tribal societies often scorn the superpowers for their greed that technology has led them to.
This s a place of political intrigue and a constant question of nature versus technology. These land peoples have an uncultured life according to the men in the high mountains, but they survive and thrive on the land they have claimed for themselves. Collectively, every tribe comes together when their territory is threatened and will fight back the greedy superpowers if needed to protect their home.
